Petrina M. Giardino

Born June 19, 1950, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Angello and Virginia Mary Jane (Fusco) Angello. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony C. âTonyã Giardino, who passed away on July 21, 2022. The two were united in marriage on Sept. 27, 1974, sharing many devoted years together.

She is survived by her loving children, Antonietta Naimo and her husband, Sal, of Millerstown, and Joe Giardino and his wife, Heather, of Lewistown. Petrina was a proud and devoted grandmother to Guy Naimo and his wife, Hannah; Gabe Naimo; Nico Naimo; Haylee Giardino and her fiancé Tyler Smith; and Malloreigh Yingling and her wife, Madison. She is also survived by her step-granddaughter, Angel Aldinger and her husband, Aaron, as well as numerous great-grandchildren who brought her great joy.

Also surviving are her brother, Joseph Angello and his wife, Judy, of Altoona; her nephews, Brent Angello and his wife, Cassie, and Marcus Angello and his wife, Mindy; and her dear friends, Karyn Varner and her husband, Ed, of Lewistown.

Petrina dedicated many years of her life to her work as a talented hairstylist. She found great happiness in cooking and baking for her family and most recently attended MC3 Church in Lewistown. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, her many close friends, and her beloved dog, Majik.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
