Nancy E. Shehan
Nancy E. Shehan, 95, of McClure, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Brookline Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, in Mifflintown.
Nancy was born October 4, 1930, in Lewistown, and was the daughter of the late Harry L. Colabine Sr. and Helen L. (Conner) Colabine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Shehan, whom she married on Dec. 22, 1951; a brother, Richard L. Colabine; step-granddaughter, Mitzi Wethington; son-in-law, Brian Moyer; sisters-in-law, Jane Colabine, Shirley Colabine.
She is survived her children, Deborah Moryer, of Marquette Mich., Jeffery Shehan and companion, Michelle Keister, Michael Shehan and companion, Ann Odyke, both of McClure; three grandchildren, Adam Thomas and wife, Carol, Bridget Pancheri and husband, Jamie, and Jennifer Shehan; step- grandchildren, Maria Wade, Michelle Pascoe and Mike; great-grandchildren, Madison, Katelyn, Gabriel and Emily; step-great-grandchildren, Monique, Elijah, Brian, Tiffany, Marina, and Michael; three step great-great-grandchildren, Maelina, Kycen, and Bruce, and one on the way in Sept.
Nancy was a member of the Bannerville Brethren Church.
She was a 1950 graduate of Derry Township High School.
Nancy worked 21 years in Custard Shops, Kline’s Delight and Country Corners and 15 years at Lozier in McClure.
She was an avid gardener in her younger days. She loved to bake and give her baked goods to her neighbors. She loved going for long car rides and working on her ceramics.
A viewing will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm, Sunday, April26, 2026, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, 108 1st Ave., Burnham.
A second viewing will be held from 10 am to 11 am, on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Burnham, with a funeral services to follow at 11 am, with Rev. Darvin Donahey officiating.
Interment will take place at Mount Rock Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to Brookline Manor, 2 Manor Blvd, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
