Martha E. Brannan

Martha E. Brannan, 57, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Born on Aug. 25, 1968, in Waterbury, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Arkie Lee (Hale) Johnson. On October 19, 2024, she married the love of her life, Kyle D. Brannan.

Martha dedicated her life to serving God through worship, her country via the Air Force, and her community through a career as a registered nurse.

In addition to her husband, Kyle, she is survived by her three stepsons: Ayden Brannan (Destini) and their daughter, Vaidda-May Brannan of Camp Lejune, N.C., Noah and Liam Brannan both of Burnham. Also surviving is her sister, Maggie Rogers of Longwood, Florida, her niece, Lily Rogers, and nephew, Riley Rogers.

Martha found joy in the outdoors, finding peace in running or biking in several locations throughout Happy Valley. She also enjoyed the occasional hike with Kyle. Martha loved to rest and recharge with a quiet Bible study and was an avid cat lover.

Family and friends will be received and a time of sharing will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte. No formal funeral services will be held.
