She was an avid reader, enjoyed participating in a local book club, and listening to audiobooks while quilting. As long as she was able, she volunteered at Valley View Haven. An excellent seamstress and quilter, she made beautiful quilts for each of her children, her grandson, great-grandson and others. The family is grateful to the staff at Valley View Haven Nursing Home for their compassionate care of their mom.
