Clara P. (Nace) Fogleman

Clara P. (Nace) Fogleman, 90, of McAlisterville, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.

Born on Nov. 11, 1935 in Fayette Twp., Juniata County, she is a daughter of the late Harry and Phyllis (Haubert) Nace .

On April 5, 1958, she married her late husband, William R. âBillã Fogleman, with whom she was blessed to share over 54 years of marriage before his passing on May 19, 2012.

She is survived by her daughters, Beth Scott, of King of Prussia, and Jill Snyder and her husband, Andrew of Dillsburg; one granddaughter, Ashley Kuhl, of Philadelphia; and one sister, Anne Cieslar, of Mechanicsburg.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Carol Sipe, Erma Diffenderfer, and Harry âBusã Nace.

Mrs. Fogleman was a 1953 graduate of Fayette High School and a 1956 graduate of the Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing.

Clara was employed and retired as a Registered Nurse where, over her career, served Nipple's Convalescent Home in Liverpool and the Lewistown Hospital.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in McAlisterville where she was involved in the founding of the church's Willing Workers, was a part of the creation of the church's peanut butter Easter egg fund raiser and participated for many years, and was instrumental in the formation of the Sonbeam Early Learning Center in McAlisterville where she also was a member of the Center's Board.

Clara enjoyed baking, sewing, shopping, searching and looking for different patterns and colors of fabric, and decorating for Christmas time; however, her greatest joy came from time spent with her family.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 420 Main St., McAlisterville with Pastor Karen Ward officiating. Interment will be private at Hillside Cemetery, McAlisterville.

There will be no public viewing, however, the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the Memorial Services at 11 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Fogleman's memory can be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 420 Main St., McAlisterville, PA 17049 or to North Ridge Center Personal Care, 99 North Ridge Drive, McAlisterville, PA 17049.
