Harry J. Watts Sr.
Harry J. Watts Sr., 69, of Mifflintown, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026, at Geisinger- Lewistown Hospital.
Born Jan. 15, 1957, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Harry E. Watts and Hope E. (Geedy) Watts.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three step-sisters, Carol Swailes, Wendy Hostler and Bonnie Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene L. (Burd) Watts, whom he married July 12, 1977; children, Harry J. Watts Jr., of Harrisburg, Hope Rhea and husband, Michael Sr., of Mifflin; grandchildren, Alex, Cole, and Natalie Watts, Briar Rhea; and a sister, Judy Zimmerman, of Mexico, Pa.
Harry was a graduate of Juniata High School, Class of 1975. Earlier in his life, he worked at Mexico Forge, and later was employed as an inspection mechanic at Exxon Station in Mifflintown.
Harry loved working on his classic cars and enjoyed helping with Barton’s hobby car. He liked attending drag races at Beaver Springs Raceway and was an avid fan of NASCAR and football. He found joy in spending time with his family, friends, and neighbors.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in Harry’s memory may be made to House of Care in Danville.
