Theodora L. Snyder

Born on Sept. 30, 1942, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Richard R. and Ruth (Sheets) Yeager.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Roth; a son, Peter Roth; and her sisters, Martha Marquis and Mary Ann Stauffer.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Snyder, Sr., of Lewistown; her daughter, Jennifer Stuck, and her husband, David, of Belleville; her step-children, Ryan Snyder and his wife, Candy, of Lewistown, Raymond Snyder, Jr. and his wife, Heather, of Lewistown, and Robyn Banchiere and her husband, Robert, of Shrewsbury. Theodora was blessed with four grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and 21 step great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Yeager and his wife Gerri, of Lewistown.

Theodora was a devoted member of Ellen Chapel Church. She was active in her community, having served as an elected member of the Mifflin County Democratic Committee and as a member and past secretary of the Mifflin County Democratic Women’s Club. She also gave her time to the Mifflin County Library Board of Trustees, where she served as president.

She loved spending time with her family and took great joy in entertaining in her home. A phenomenal cook and gracious hostess, she created countless memories around her table. Theodora also cherished her role alongside her husband on the family farm and pursued various business endeavors throughout her life, always embracing new opportunities and following her dreams.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
