Steven Wilson Erb, 77, of Back Maitland Road, McClure, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, at his residence.
Born Feb. 6, 1948, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Gerald R. and Frances K. (Snyder) Erb.
He was married to Carol A. Erb for 21 years. She preceded him in death on Jan. 7, 1999.
Surviving are children: Deena (Randolph) Ryan and husband Marc of Milroy, Richard D.G. Randolph and fiancÈe Tracy (Fogelman) Kauffman, of Milroy; grandchildren: Marc Ryan II, Megan Ryan-Crawley and husband Jason, Amanda (Randolph) Hall and husband Ryan; great-grandchildren: Sturges, Francena, and Florence Ryan-Crawley and Theadora Hall.
Steve graduated in 1966 from Chief Logan High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1967-72, with an honorable discharge and was employed at the Standard Steel for 50 years, retiring in 2017.
He loved to explore Gettysburg and anything to do with the Civil War. He loved spending time with his family and especially his great-grandchildren.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Milroy.
