Marie B. "Barb" Kilby, 91, formerly of Mifflintown, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, at Nottingham Village in Northumberland.
Born on April 7, 1934, in Laurelton, Union County, she is a daughter of the late Philip and Marcie (Schnure) Buoy.
Barb was blessed to be married to Haroldean G. Pentz, who preceded her in death on June 18, 2002, and to Elza R. "Bud" Kilby, who preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2021.
She is survived by her children, Gina Reever and husband, Dwayne, of Red Lion, Rick Kahl and his wife, Wanda, of Mifflinburg, Joe Kahl and his wife, Cheryl, of New Berlin; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many generations of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by four siblings making her the last of her generation.
Barb was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School and attended the Grace Baptist Church of Spruce Hill when she was able to.
She loved animals, especially horses, and enjoyed mowing her lawn and watching her flowers bloom.
Closed Casketed Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a,m, Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with Pastor Dennis Seiler officiating. Interment will take place at the East Waterford Cemetery.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
