Carl B. Ronk, 80, of McVeytown, passed away on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at his home.
Born on March 25, 1945, in McVeytown, Carl was the son of the late Charles and Ruth (Rittenhouse) Ronk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Miranda Rutter, and his sisters, Betty Wilhelm and Hazel Miller.
Carl is survived by his wife, Linda (Fleming) Ronk; his daughter, Melissa Rutter and her husband, Randy, of McVeytown; his son, Chad Ronk, also of McVeytown; his stepdaughter, Toni Ott and her husband, Ryan, of Mechanicsburg; his stepson, Shawn Yorks and his wife, Casey, of Tallahassee, Fla.; and his cherished granddaughter, Delaney Ronk.
Carl dedicated over 40 years of service to J.M. Young and Son's Construction, where he faithfully served as vice president of the company until his retirement in 2013. A true outdoorsman at heart, he found great joy in trapping, hunting, and fishing, and was a former member of the Sand Flat Hunting Camp.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
