Arthur L. Kohler

Arthur L. Kohler, 86, of Granville, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025.

Born on Dec. 16, 1939, in Mifflin County, Arthur was the son of the late Raymond M. and Anna Mae (Bedlyon) Kohler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Paul L. Kohler, and several brothers and sisters.

Arthur is survived by his devoted wife of more than 62 years, Carol "Sue" (Naylor) Kohler, whom he married on May 9, 1963; his son, John M. Kohler and his wife, Kathy L., of Granville; his cherished grandchildren, Alicia L. Cluck and her husband, Joseph, and Dustin L. Kohler and his fiancÈe, Andrea Garcia, all of Granville; and his beloved great-grandchildren, Emma, Mia, Jase, Sophia, Xavier and Felicity.

He honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, Arthur was employed for many years with Norfolk Southern Railway.

Arthur was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge of Huntingdon and was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others. A true craftsman, he had a deep passion for woodworking, particularly in handcrafting furniture. A jack of all trades, Arthur was rarely idle and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan St., Lewistown.
