Born May 11, 1935, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Rachel (Moore) Baxter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold M. Zimmerman, on April 13, 2016, and by her siblings, William Baxter, Raymond Baxter, Peggy Stine, and Harold Baxter.
Anna is lovingly survived by her children, James Zimmerman and wife, Teresa, of Lewistown; Nancy Zimmerman, of Lewistown; and Grace Simcic and husband, Greg, of Carnegie, Pa.; her cherished grandson, Drew Zimmerman, of Indiana, Pa.; and her sister, Shirley Silfies, of Lewistown.
A woman of steadfast faith, Anna was a devoted member of New Life Church in Burnham, where she faithfully signed for the deaf and played the piano for many years. She shared her gifts of service and compassion with others through her work at H&R Block, where she provided tax services to the community for many years, and as a preschool teacher at Calvary Bible Church. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed crocheting and blessing others with the things she made by hand.
