Lanny R. Silks

Born on May 18, 1941, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Albert and Ella Mae (Groce) Silks.

Lanny is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah A. (Utts) Silks, and his beloved children: Tina Myers and husband, Robert, of Lewistown; Terry Knouse and husband, Scott, of Reedsville; Tisa Caslow and husband, Troy, of Lancaster; Jon Silks and wife, Jen, of Spring Mills; Holly Hill and husband, Brad, of Reedsville, Steven Neavling and wife, Abby of Detroit, MI; and Ryan Neavling and wife, Jennifer, of Reedsville. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

A proud veteran, Lanny faithfully served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he spent many dedicated years as a machine operator at Standard Steel.

In keeping with Lanny’s wishes, no public services will be held.

Arrangements are entrusted to King Funeral Home and Crematory, 47 Carriage House Lane, Reedsville.
