Jesse J. Pennepacker

He was born on April 14, 1943, in Milroy, to the late Melvin L. and Alberta (Sweitzer) Pennepacker. On Sept. 25, 1971, he married Helen L. (Young) Pennepacker, who survives at their home.

Also surviving are siblings, Evelyn L. Fultz and husband, David of Milroy, John L. Pennepacker and wife, Barbara of Reedsville; sister-in-law, Ruth Pennepacker of Barrville; as well as many special nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Florence M. Pennepacker, Melvin L. Pennepacker and Frank W. Pennepacker.

He was employed for Brown Township in maintenance and retired in 2009, with 40 years of service.

He attended Barrville Mennonite Church and was a member of Camp Peep in Coopers Gap. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mowing grass.

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Geissinger and David Peachey officiating. Burial will take place at Church Hill Cemetery following the service. His family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
