William "Bill" Deavor Jr. passed away May 3, 2025.
Born on July 17, 1947, in Lewistown, Bill was a man whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him. He was a graduate of Lewistown High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Bill was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Michelle L. (Sander) Deavor, and a loving father to his children, Patty Sementelli McKinney (George), William Deavor III (Tina), and Alexis Deavor (David Noyes). His role as a family man extended to his role as a proud brother to Barry Deavor (Deb), Steve Deavor (Barb), Barbara Jo Daniels, Melody Dull, and Geary and Kristy Norris. He was a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, who left behind a legacy of love and treasured memories.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, William Howard Deavor Sr. and Betty (Shumaker) Drucknmiller as well as his sister, Brenda Deavor.
Bill had an unwavering faith and was a member of Saint John's Newberry Methodist Church.
Services will be held at later date at the family's convenience.
