Stephen D. Fleischer passed from this earth to Heaven on April 22, 2025 after a nine month bout with cancer.
Steve was born to Joseph and Eva Fleischer on Jan. 19, 1959 in Norristown, but was raised in Belleville by foster parents Elrose and Pauline Glick.
Steve was preceded in death by a nephew, Andrew Fleischer and his parents.
He is survived by two sisters Debbie Crouse of North Wales and Heidi Vail of phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Ed Fleischer of Carlisle and Tom Fleischer of Duncansville.
After Steve left Belleville he lived and worked in the Lancaster County area, but he was always very fond of Big Valley and the people that live there.
Steve always had a love for farming and loved to talk about it. He also enjoyed hunting in his younger years, hanging out with friends, and family gatherings; he especially enjoyed bringing ice cream treats for his great-nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.
There will be a private memorial at a later date.
