Rev. Kenneth C. Wagner

Rev. Kenneth C. Wagner, 92, (formerly of Milroy), passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Celebration Villa, Reedsville.

He was born on Jan. 28, 1933, in Siglerville, to the late Ellsworth "Dick" Wagner, Sr. and Merejilda (Grafal) Wagner. On Dec. 4, 1954, he married Rev. Liane E. (Paintner) Wagner, who preceded him in death in 2018.

Surviving is a daughter, Sandra I. Graham and husband, James of Waxahachie, Texas; a granddaughter, Heather Pogharian and husband, Jeffrey of Thornton; two great-grandchildren, Cash and Charlie; a brother, Daniel K. Wagner of Hollidaysburg and a sister, Stella Reiter of Belleville.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Millard O. Wagner, Ellsworth L. Wagner, Jr., Willard L. Wagner, Patsy Bonson, and Clark E. Wagner.

He graduated in 1950 from Milroy High School. Following high school he immediately signed up for the Military. He was in the Air Force from 1950-1954 serving in the Korean War as a Radar operator at Chodo Island, North Korea. He then was employed as a service technician at New Holland, retiring in February, 1981. He also served as a pastor for 30 years in Mifflin, Huntingdon and Snyder Counties, retiring in 2007 from the ministry.

He was a member of the Coffee Run Fishing Club and East End Blue Rock Sportsman Club.

He was a member of the Bannerville Church of the Brethren.

There will be a visitation/viewing held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main Street, Reedsville, with the funeral service to follow at noon with Pastor Jeannine Leister officiating. Burial will take place at the Salem Cemetery in Siglerville.
