Linda K. (Yohn) Stuter, 67, of Mechanicsville, Md., passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C.
She was born June 11, 1957, in Lewistown to the late Larry R. Yohn Sr. and Gloria L. (Himes) Yohn of Reedsville.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth P. Stuter, of Baltimore, Md., and companion, Robert E. Cooper and his sons, Shane and Austin. Siblings; Larry (Delores) Yohn, Karen (Jeff) Kilmer, Cindy North, Melissa (Jeff) Sellers and nieces and nephews; Brandy (Chris) Ruff, Nicholas (Julianne) Kilmer, Seth (Leigha) Kilmer, Lucas (Tara) North, Joseph (Erika) Sellers, Megan (Hunter) Snook and 10 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by niece, Leslie Yohn.
Linda was a 1975 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School.
Her hobbies included reading, cooking and listening to music.
She retired in 2024 from her position in Administration at Catholic Cemeteries.
She requested her body be donated to Science in hopes of helping to find a treatment or cure for others living with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy.
As per her request there will be no services.
