Joseph C. Zook, 78, of Newmanstown, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025.
He was the widower of Mary L. "Susie" (Wilson) Zook. who passed away April 12, 2008.
Born in Belleville, Pa. on Oct. 10, 1946, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Barbara (Byler) Zook.
Joseph worked for over 40 years as a dairy facility designer. He was the past owner of Agri, Inc. and worked as an independent consultant.
Joseph was a member of Faith Baptist Church-Lebanon and enjoyed hunting, fishing, flea-marketing, and spending time up home with family.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda K., wife of David L. Rhoades Jr., of Myerstown and Barbara S., wife of Duane Wilkins, of Rexmont; two sons Joseph "Ed" Zook, of Newmanstown and Theodore "Ted" Zook husband of Lori, of Fredericksburg; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Ben Y. Zook, of Belleville and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Katie Detweiler, Lydia Byler; and a brother, Jonathan Yohn Zook.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the Grose Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067 on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. as well as on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Schaefferstown Cemetery.
