Helen ‘Jane’ Miller

Helen "Jane" Miller, 81 of Lewistown, passed away at her home on Monday, April 21, 2025. She was the loving wife of Franklin D. "Frank" Miller.

Born on April 1, 1944 in Lewistown, she was a daughter to the late Lewis L. and Helen L. (O'Neal) Croyle. She graduated from Chief Logan in 1962 and attended Bowsman University in Montana. She recently worked for Monumental Insurance as a manager and attended church at Village Lighthouse Chapel.

Jane had a love for country living. She spent over 25 years as a farmer, working the land and caring for animals. Dogs held a special place in her heart and she enjoyed spending time reading, crocheting and knitting.

Jane is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter, Patricia Cheniene Leiter and husband, Thomas; step-daughter, Jody A. Miller; step-sons, Jeffrey A. Miller and wife, Shari and Brian K. Miller; grandchildren, Alec James Smith, Lance A. Miller, and Haley Birch; great-grandchildren, Grayson Birch, Layla Birch, Alaric Smith, and one on the way; sister-in-law, Susan Croyle; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by son, Ronald M. "Chip" Warner; granddaughters, Sherry Jane Kipp and Tessa Marie Smith; and brother, Ronald Croyle.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025 at King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown. The service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Juniata Memorial Park.
