Carol J. Miller

Carol J. Miller, 77, of Thompsontown (Maze), passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at her residence.

Born on Jan. 15, 1947 in Delaware Township, Juniata County, she is the daughter of the late Ray J. and Mildred A. (Merideth) Page. On May 1, 1965, she married her late husband, Robert A. Miller, with whom she was blessed to share more than 58 years of marriage before his passing on May 23, 2023.

She is survived by two daughters, Sabrina Schlegel and her husband, Jerry of Thompsontown and Bobbi Apple and her husband, Edward of Richfield; four grandchildren, Alyssa Heikes and her husband, Jared, Kylie Phillips and her husband, Connor, Taylor Apple, and Riley Apple; three great grandchildren, Everly Heikes, Camrynn Heikes, and Cooper Phillips; one brother, Kevin Page and his wife, Carol Sue of Newville; and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Carol was a 1964 graduate of East Juniata High School in Cocolamus and was a proud homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother.

Her memberships included Dressler's Ridge United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant Mills and enjoyed reading and music; however, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2024 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Aaron Benner officiating. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

A closed casket visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
