Karen M. Garver, 76, of Mifflintown, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at her home.

Born on May 18, 1948 in Mifflintown, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Walters) Pannebaker. On Dec. 6, 1986 she married her surviving husband, Richard Garver, with whom she was blessed to share more than 38 years before her passing.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children Benjamin Hooke Milliken III of Enola, Angela Clark and husband, Michael, of Mifflintown, T.J. Garver and wife, Holli, of Mifflintown, and Lauren Maines and husband, Christopher, of Lewistown; a sister, Linda McKnaight; grandchildren Garrett and wife Rachael, Seth, Morgan, Kiersten and husband Colton, Colten, Drew, Briar, Mallory, Lillee, Ainsley and Paxton; as well as great grandchildren Raelynn, Griffin, Gia, and Kinslee. She also leaves behind her Golden Retriever, Zoe. Karen was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Leister.

Karen graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Mifflintown. Karen enjoyed boating at Raystown, Penn State Football, supporting her grandkids and great grandkids in their endeavors. She also enjoyed shopping trips with her daughters.

The family will hold a private memorial service at their convenience. Friends and family are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life for Karen on Monday, March 17, at 5 p.m. at Cora’s Creekside Tavern, 206 West Freedom Ave., Burnham, PA.
