James D. Long Jr., 68, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, at his home.
Born Sept. 16, 1956, in Pottstown, Pa., he was the son of the late James D. Long Sr., and Esther (Kint) Long, of Pottstown.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen (Musser) Long; children, James D. Long III and wife, Korry, of Yeagertown, Kate Long and husband, Mike Darerow, of Yeagertown; grandchildren, Coby Long and companion, Katie Beward, Don Jacobs and companion, Christa Hagen, Penny Aarerow, Alyssa Jabs; great- grandchildren, Luna Frantz and Cleo Long; sibling, Gary Long and Lucy Long, both of Pottstown; many loving nieces and nephews.
He was a United States Army veteran.
James worked as a diesel mechanic and was a truck driver.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
