Doris L. Brumbaugh

Doris L. Brumbaugh, 86, of Ferguson Valley Road, McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born Dec. 14, 1938 in Huntingdon, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy Jackson. Her husband, Gary E. Brumbaugh Sr., whom she married Sept. 28, 1957, survives.

Also surviving are: a son, Gary E. Brumbaugh Jr. of Lewistown; a daughter, Dana L. Crosson and husband, Scott of McVeytown; a brother, Kerry "Sonny" Jackson and wife, Barbara of Texas; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Crosson, Alysha Crosson, and Kody Crosson and wife, Callie; and six great grandchildren, Evan Crosson, Alexis Crosson, Adalyn Tyson, Lilly Crosson, Bentley Crosson, and Tucker Crosson.

She was preceded in death by three siblings, William McCracken, Mary Lou Smith, and Peggy Knode.

She retired from the Mifflin County Area Agency on Aging.

Doris was a member of the Pine Glen Alliance Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Pine Glen Alliance Church with Pastor Mark Crosson officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
