Deborah A. Kurtz, 74, formerly of Milroy, passed away on March 26, 2025, at Greenwood Village, Lewistown.
She was born on March 31, 1950 in Lewistown, to the late Thomas and Ruth (Fultz) Duck. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ronald E. Kurtz, on Sept. 22, 1995; son, Troy E. Kurtz; daughter, Penny D. Goss; and a sister, Carole Ritter.
Surviving are a daughter, Ruth A. Kurtz of Lewistown; Genean Hayes "a special daughter" of Lewistown; son-in-law, Andrew Goss of Belleville; two grandchildren, Joshua Kurtz and Laci Sellers; seven great-grandchildren; siblings: Sandra Goss and husband, William of Lewistown, Karen Hoar and husband, William of Milroy, and Jeff Duck of St. Petersburg, Fla.
She attended Kishacoquillas High School and obtained her Associates Degree from St. Francis University. She was primarily a homemaker.
She enjoyed reading and playing games on the computer. In earlier years, she enjoyed decorating cakes. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main Street, Reedsville, with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeannine Leister officiating.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
