Clarence D. Weaver, 81, of Milroy, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at home.
He was born on Oct. 8, 1943, in Lewistown, to the late Hubert S. and Emma P. (Leister) Weaver. On April 10, 1965, he married Joanne L. (Close) Weaver, who survives at home.
Along with his wife, he is survived by: a son, Bryan K. Weaver of Gettysburg; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Dan and Cindy Close of Milroy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Todd D. Weaver on May 27, 1989; two brothers; and one sister. He was the last of his immediate family.
He graduated in 1962 from Lewistown High School. He worked at the Viscose and then worked at Standard Steel Machine Shop until his retirement in 2004.
He was a member of Seven Mountains Bowling Association and a member of the Milroy Fire Company.
In earlier years, he enjoyed bowling and more recently he enjoyed golfing and playing cards with his friends.
A special thanks to Aseracare Hospice staff for the wonderful care they provided for him.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
