William K. Bodtorf Sr, 65, of Reedsville, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
He was born on June 3, 1959 in Lewistown, to the late Fred J. Bodtorf and Mary Allice (Fickes) Bodtorf of Belleville. In 1977, he married Diana Bodtorf, who survives at their home.
Along with his wife, who he loved more than life itself, he is also survived by a son, William K. Bodtorf Jr. and companion, Mandy Pyle, of Reedsville as well as three grandchildren: Brianna, Jalee, and Bella; and two brothers, Robert Bodtorf and wife, Sharon, of Newport and Christopher Bodtorf and wife, Sheli, of Burnham.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Bodtorf.
He was a 1977 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School and served in the military for four years. He was retired and worked part-time for Bowersox Auto Body in Lewistown.
He was a member of the Lewistown Country Club.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and working on vehicles. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family and going to camp with Brett Bowersox.
Bill's funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2025 at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main Street, Reedsville, with Pastor Chris Lutz officiating. His family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery following the service.
