Sharon Elaine Klinger

Sharon Elaine Klinger, 78, of Lewistown, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital with family at her side. She was born on Oct. 29, 1946 in Lewistown to the late Raymond J. and Eleanor M. (Habbershon) Miller.

In 1968, Sharon married her best friend, Lloyd R. Klinger. They spent their life together building their family for 51 years. A piece of her went with him when he passed in 2019. Now they are together again in Heaven.

Sharon was a family woman and her greatest joy and achievement was caring for her children and spending time with them.

Beyond her beloved family, she was a true social butterfly, effortlessly mingling with others and forming connections wherever she went.

Sharon was a graduate of Chief Logan High School and employment at Danks and the Juniata Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of Grove Memorial United Methodist Church.

Sharon is survived by her children, Raymond Klinger and wife, Pamela of Lewistown, Shawn Klinger and wife, Tammi of Lewistown, and Michele Klinger and husband, Bob of Ickesburg; grandchildren, Raymond and wife, Molly, Britney Knouse and husband, Clintin, Johnathyn, and Jordan and wife, Amanda; and great grandchildren, Aurora, Bria, William, Kirby, and Iris.

All services will be private. She will be buried next to her husband and best friend at Maitland Church of the Brethren Cemetery. King-Barr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
