Robert W. Keagle, 75, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, at William Penn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on Oct. 12, 1949, in Lewistown, Robert was the son of the late William and Marie (Reigle) Keagle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Keagle, and his infant son, Jerrod Keagle.
Robert leaves behind his son, Nathan Keagle of Lewistown; Dona Keagle of Lewistown; his niece, Amy Brumbaugh of Mattawana; and Doris Ann Reigle Stout.
He honorably and faithfully served his country in The United States Army.
A graduate of the Lewistown-Granville High School Class of 1967, Robert spent his career in the manufactured housing industry, eventually retiring from Apex Homes in Middleburg, where he retired as a transportation manager. Earlier in life, he was a volunteer fire fighter at FAME. He held lifelong memberships with City Hook & Ladder, FAME, and Yeagertown Volunteer Fire Companies. Additionally, he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion Post 0298 in Mifflintown.
Robert was a fan of auto racing, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Penn State Nittany Lions.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, at Mt. Rock Cemetery, with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
