Randy S. "DiGennaro" Phipps, 47, of Lewistown, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, at his residence.
Born on Aug. 23, 1977, in Baltimore, Md., he is a son of the late Francis Phipps and Marie (Jeffries) Phipps. He is survived by a brother, Parkey Phipps and significant other, Abby O'Shura, of Middletown; two aunts, Tanya Mills and her husband, James, and Dianne Carl of Pottstown; as well as various cousins. Randy also survived the countless people who impacted his life and filled it with so much love every day. He considered every one of you as family.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Toby Phipps; maternal grandparents Ronald and Anna (Marchak) Jeffries of Dundalk, Md.; paternal grandparents Francis W. and Anna (Rath) Phipps; an uncle Ted Carl of Pottstown; as well as Bear the dog and Kitty the cat.
Randy enjoyed bowling and watching football. He loved movies and tv shows over the years and built a large collection of them. He also really enjoyed being around people and had a fondness for animals. He volunteered at the Humane Society due to his love for animals.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge Street, Mifflintown.
