Lila Jane Cowder Warner, born on Jan. 20, 1927, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Feb. 9, 2025 from her home in Aydlett, N.C.
She was preced ed in death by her husband, Earl Warner, her son, Steven Warner, and grandson, John Kruse. Lila leaves behind three children, Johnn Marie Warner (Kruse), Michael Warner, and Beth Warner (Madden), along with four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
She was born in Lewistown to Amy and Wilbur Cowder where she graduated from nursing school, and worked in Lewistown Hospital for many years.
Services will be held at the Sharon United Methodist Church in Poplar Branch, N.C. at 2 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2025. Additional services will be held at the cemetery in Belleville, across from the Belleville Lutheran church at a later date.
