William J. "Bill" Goss, 84, of Milroy, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 17, 1940, in Milroy, to the late Cloyd J. and Maryann (Lingle) Goss.
He is survived by 10 nieces and nephews, including his beloved niece, Sheila "Tink," who provided devoted care and shared a special bond with him throughout his life. He is also survived by a number of great and great-great nieces and nephews, and siblings: James J. Goss of Milroy, Sara L. Schlegel of Milroy, and Barbara J. Foltz and husband, Stephen, of Milroy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters: Mary Helen Goss, Dorothy Fiedler, Margaret C. Aitkin, and Joyce Ann Goss, and brothers-in-law: Mearl Schlegel and Perry E. Aitkin.
He was a life-long dairy farmer, who loved his cows like they were his own children. In his earlier years when farming, he was a member of the PA Farmer's Association.
He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his two great-great nephews, Kason and Jaxon.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.
