Robert E. Fultz Jr.

Robert E. Fultz Jr., 68, of McVeytown, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025.

Born Jan. 17, 1956 in Belleville, he was a son of the late Robert E. "Shorty" and Mabel E. (Eward) Fultz Sr.

Surviving are: his fiancÈe, Sharree L. Keppler, of Williamsburg; two daughters, Elena M. Prince and husband, Chris, of Carlisle, Christina R. Ramos, of Carlisle; a son-in-law, Ramiro Ramos, of Mt. Holly Springs; a brother, Steven Fultz and wife, Barbara, of Spring Mills, a sister, Debra Wert and husband, Ricky, of Belleville; and two granddaughters, Viridiana and Sylvana Ramos.

He retired from the Pennsylvania State Police and was a member of the Mifflin County Republican Committee and a member of the National Rifle Association.

"The Bob" had a wickedly dry sense of humor, and was quick to inject a pun, turn of phrase, or wry observation into any conversation.

He loved watching action movies, various types of music and playing drums, exercise and weightlifting, and he was a master craftsman and jack-of-all-trades with woodworking, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and auto mechanics.

Bob also had quite the green thumb, finding his higher calling with cultivating various flora around his property. In addition, Bob had a deep love of nature and enjoyed capturing it with his photography.

One of his favorite activities was hiking with his fiancÈe, Sharree, and his souldog, Remington.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Griffith Family Foundation (for pancreatic cancer research), 309 Allegheny St., Suite 5, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648; or as an alternative, we request donations to your preferred animal rescue organization.
