Reba S. Freet

Reba S. Freet, 76, of Concord, formerly of Mifflin, passed away Jan. 21, 2025, in Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harry N. Freet, Jr.

Born Jan. 28, 1948, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Wilson Harry and Anna Beryl (Campbell) Nealman. As a nurse, Reba worked in several different areas of health care, including private duty, nursing facilities and institutions.

Reba and Harry worshiped at Mexico Full Gospel Mission, Mifflintown. She loved to fish and was an avid pie baker who made the best peanut butter eggs in Concord. She also enjoyed crafts, arranging flowers and going to the flea markets at Williams Grove. She also had time for helping in the community.

Surviving with her husband, Harry, are 3 children: Randy L. Freet (Jennifer Gilbert), of Honey Grove, Sandy K. Jones, Thompsontown and Jody L. Jones (Lester Hammond) of Concord, She dearly loved her 6 grandchildren, Dylan Geissinger (Jhenna), Pierson and James Freet, Jocelynn, Justin and Jaden Jones and 3 great grandchildren, Scarlett, Calliope and Waylon. Also surviving is her brother, William Nealman of Mifflin and 4 sisters, Alma Buchanan and Ruth Kelley of Honey Grove, Georgia Leach of Allentown, PA and Mary Shope of Mt. Union. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Nathan A. Jones last February and brothers Harry, Charles and Ralph Nealman and sisters Martha Lauver, Violet and Emma Grace Brown.

Reba's viewings will be Friday evening, Jan. 24 between 6 and 8 PM and Sat. morning after 10 AM followed by the funeral service at 11 AM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, PA with Pastor Charlie McKee officiating. Interment Concord Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in her name be made to Mexico Full Gospel Mission, 485 Gill Road, Mifflintown, PA 17059 www.agettlakjer.com.
