Peggy J. Kauffman, 83, formerly of 37 King St., Garden View, Reedsville passed away on Jan. 12, 2025, at Valley View Retirement Community, Belleville.
She was born in Belleville on March 27, 1941 to the late Penrose and Edna (Havice) Kauffman.
She is survived by her brother, Kenneth and his wife, Penelope, of Wesley Chapel, Fla. and nephew, Christopher, of Winter Garden, Fla. She is also survived by her good friends, Jerry and Marilyn Middlesworth and their children Rachael and Adam.
She graduated from Kishacoquillas High School in 1959.
Peggy worked at New Holland in Belleville as a Human Resource Administrator. After retirement from New Holland, she enjoyed arranging group trips for the TGIR Retiree Group. She served as a Hospice Volunteer from 1981 to 2008. Peggy also enjoyed doing needlepoint and reading.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Siglerville, and attended Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church in Reedsville.
Per her request, there will be no public viewing. Burial will take place at Salem Cemetery in Siglerville on Saturday, Jan. 18. 2025 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Doug Pierce officiating.
