Nancy Elizabeth Rowe
Nancy Elizabeth Rowe, 85, of Valley View Retirement Community in Belleville, went home to be with her precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025. Heaven for Christians is best spelled H.O.M.E.
Nancy was born on Oct. 5, 1939, in Derry Township, a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Ninnievah Marie (Heckman) Rowe.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sisters Virginia and Pauline; and her brother Edwin, who all died as children.
She is survived by cousins and friends.
She was a 1957 graduate of Lewistown High School and a 1960 graduate of the Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She retired from nursing in 1999 after having many positions over her 39 year career.
Nancy was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Lewistown where she was active in various church activities.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown, with Pastor Robert Marsh officiating. Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
