Nancy Ann Davis-Hosler, 86 of Beaver Springs, passed away on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. She was the wife of Nelson Hosler. The couple would have celebrated their 35th anniversary this May.
Born on Sept. 12, 1938 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Charles Z. and Dorothy Mae (Shirey) Norton. Nancy graduated from Lewistown High School in 1956. For 37 years, Nancy worked as an Aide for Sun Home Health Service. She previously worked as a bartender at the McClure American Legion and Brass Rail Inn. She was a caring person and a mother to many. Her greatest love in life was her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her animals.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her children: John S. Davis (Joyce), Pamela Imes (Steven), Keena Mengle (David), Billie Ann Dressler (John), Robert Davis (Gwen), Stacie Long (Donald), and Gail Boritz (Charles); foster daughter, Connie Cox (Bradley); special daughter, Debra Wagner-Young; 11 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; siblings, Harry G. Norton and wife, Mary and Linda N. Barr and husband, Roger, and many nieces and nephews. Including her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by brother, Charles Norton and wife, Donna.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025 at Christ Church of Beaver Springs, 800 Center Ave, Beaver Springs, PA 17812. On Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, a viewing will be from 12 to 1 p.m. at King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown. The service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at Juniata Memorial Park.
