Margaret A. ‘Peggy’ Kepner

Born Jan. 20, 1947, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Ray I. and Margaret E. (Snyder) Strauser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rannels A. Kepner Jr, on April 25, 2020 and a brother, Larry R. Strauser, on April 21, 1999.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy and husband Douglas Lash, of Prescott, Ariz., sister, Beverly Manbeck, of York and brother, Ned Strauser, of Las Vegas, Nev.

She graduated from Chief Logan High School and obtained her cosmetology license. She owned and operated Peggy’s Beauty Shop in Highland Park for 30 years. After moving to Florida, she worked at the Key Training Center in Inverness and volunteered at Blessing in a Backpack until retiring.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
