Linda Lou (Snook) White passed away peacefully on Nov. 26, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Born Sept. 13, 1945 in Lewistown. She attended Rothrock High School and graduated in 1963. She played clarinet in the band.
Linda moved to Ocala, FL, then to Neptune beach, where she resided for 50 years before returning to Pennsylvania.
Employed by DCPS teaching at San Pable Elementary and Mayport Elementary.
She volunteered at an Indian Reservation.
Later, she worked at FSCJ and UNF in the admissions department.
Linda is survived by her sons, Adam (Andrea) White and Alex White; sister Anita Miller; nephews Glenn (Jenny) Miller and Gregory Scott Miller; many great-nephews and nieces; grandchildren Raley White and Austen Owen; and sisters-in-law Carolyn (Ted) Kilpatrick and Donna Snook. She also leaves behind her dogs Cyrus and Mastlyn.
She was predeceased by her husband Wade H. White; parents Roy and Madeline (Fields) Snook; brother-in-law Norman L. Miller; niece Ginger Leigh Miller; and cousins Sue Snook and Bryan Snook.
