Joseph E. Wagner, 73, of Lewistown, passed away on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, at Forest Park Nursing Home in Carlisle.
He was born on Oct. 15, 1951, in Lewistown to the late Joseph Robert and Margaret (Shoop) Wagner.
Joseph is survived by his daughters, Kristy Bagrosky and husband, Chad of McVeytown, Melissa Basom and husband, Brandon of Lewistown, and Danielle Wagner and partner, Raven McNaughton of Carlisle; grandchildren, Shaelyn Bagrosky, Logan Emery, Marlee Basom, Jace Bagrosky, and Brody Basom; and twin sister, Joan York and husband, Robert of Lewistown. In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by brother, Robert Wagner and sister, Patricia Stains.
Joseph was the owner and operator of Wagner's Coal Delivery after taking over the business from his father. He also worked at The Hanover Cannery. During his free time, Joseph enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also umpired for slow pitch softball.
All services will be private. King-Barr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
