Jim D. Yarnall

Jim D. Yarnall, 68, of Honey Grove, formerly of Mifflintown, passed away Dec. 25, 2024, in his home. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan D. (Mingle) Yarnall.

He was born Sept. 11, 1956, in Harrisburg, a son of Charlotte Romaine (Strock) Yarnall who survives of New Bloomfield and the late Charles Edward Yarnall, Jr. Jim was raised in West Fairview, Cumberland County and attended East Pennsboro High School in Enola.

Mr. Yarnall was a member of Laborers Local Union 158 and worked in construction until retiring in 2012. He was a member of American Legion Post 298 and VFW Post 5863, both of Mifflintown.

Some of his favorite activities included shooting pool, hunting, riding his Harley, kayaking, NASCAR and both he and Susan greatly enjoyed watching football. Most of all, spending time with his family and grandchildren was his greatest joy.

Surviving with his wife and mother, are 3 children: Christopher D. Yarnall (Cortney) of East Waterford, Amanda S. Armolt (Leroy) of Mechanicsburg and Stephen M. Yarnall (Andrea) of Mifflintown and 8 grandchildren, Bryson, Gavin, Evan, Skyler, Jasmine, Michael, Ethan and Olivia.

Also surviving are 2 sisters, Kathy Laman (Harry) of Marysville and Tammy Theurer (Joe) of Duncannon.
