Harry B. Gill, 80, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024 at Page Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Bennett's Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Gill was born on Jan. 1, 1944 in McVeytown, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence and Charlotte Lindenburger Gill. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy McDonald Gill and sister, Anna Carson.
He graduated from Roth Rock High School in McVeytown and was a former member of Spring Run Church of the Brethren in McVeytown. He retired from Auto Zone in Front Royal and attended Chester Gap Baptist Church. Mr. Gill loved to play golf and to go hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his two daughters, Crystal Tharpe (Tony) and Terry Griffith; sister, Carol Wilson, and three grandchildren, Anthony Seal, Brandon Griffith and Chandler Griffith.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Chester Gap Baptist Church, 41 Waterfall Road, Chester Gap, Virginia 22623.
