Teresa M. Strausburg (Baum), 61, passed away at home with family on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024.
Born on Dec. 2, 1962, in Lewistown she was the daughter of the late Janet DeArment and the stepdaughter of Larry DeArment. Teresa is survived by her son, Lance C. Blose and daughter-in-law Synterse Yocum. She is also survived by brothers Brian Bryner and wife, Deb Bryner of Lewistown and Clint DeArment; sisters Lori Kline and husband Gary, Leah DeArment and Lisa DeArment; grand- children Aviana G. Blose and Lincoln Blose. She was preceded in death by Latrenda Sward and a son, Kyle Blose.
Teresa attended Chief Logan High School. She was a member of the Brooklyn Fire Company where she loved to play bingo. She was a successful business owner, and she also worked at Lewistown Hospital emergency room department. She liked to crochet and color, she also enjoyed being on the computer. Her nickname was (The Reader) as she always had her nose in a book. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren, Aviana G. Blose and Lincoln Blose, whom she adored. Teresa also loved helping others any way she could. Her greatest love was her family. She will be forever missed.
Please join the family to celebrate her life on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. from Brown Funeral Homes, Inc. 100 Bridge Street, Mifflintown with Rev. Judy Rowles officiating. There will be a viewing on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. The interment will be held at Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
