Peter James Roth, age 62 passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024 at Greenwood Village. He was born Sept. 21, 1962 in Lewistown, PA.
He is survived by his mother, Theodora Yeager Snyder and his uncle Jack Yeager. A son, Anthony Roth, his wife Celeste, grandson Adam and granddaughter Athena. His sister Jennifer Roth Stuck and husband David. As well as beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends and caretakers.
Pete was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Ruth Yeager, his father Leslie Roth and a sister Carolyn Roth. His aunts Maryann Stauffer and Martha Marquis, as well as his beloved dog Mesha.
Pete was a 1980 graduate of Chief Logan High School. During his youth he enjoyed participating in a number of sports including football, wrestling and baseball. He was especially fond of baseball. Following high school, Pete enlisted in the United States Navy where he was a SeaBee and played baseball on the Navy team. After leaving the Navy Pete worked as a land surveyor in California and New Mexico. Upon his return to Pennsylvania, he started his own land surveying business.
Pete was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, cousin, nephew and friend. He will be sadly missed. Special thanks to all of those who helped care for Pete during his extended illness. Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park in Lewistown, PA, at a later date.
