Mark A. Shafranich, 56, of N. Myrtle Beach, SC (formerly of Milroy), passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024 at his home.
He was born on Sept. 12, 1968 to the late William M. Shafranich and Leah J. (Polliard) Shafranich of Milroy. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Mason Snook.
Surviving is a brother, William M. Shafranch and wife, Jo, of Milroy, nieces and nephews: Justin M. Shafranich and wife, Erin, of Milroy and their children, Aubrey Kensinger, Kendyl and Jaycee Shafranich, Anna Snook of Milroy, and Jess Shafranich of Milroy.
He graduated from Kish High School in 1986 and from Penn State University in 1990 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was currently working as a realtor in South Carolina.
He attended and was very active at the Valorous Church in N. Myrtle Beach, SC.
He enjoyed playing pickleball and softball in N. Myrtle Beach.
There will be a viewing held from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main Street, Reedsville, with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. with Pastor Doug Pierce officiating. Burial will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
A luncheon will follow at Wingman in Lewistown.
