Ian James Grassmyer, 39 of Lewistown, passed away at his home on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024.
He was born on April 9, 1985 to Dana (Knepper) Grassmyer Sherman and Fred Grassmyer, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Shana (Kelley) Grassmyer whom he married in 2014; daughter, Ziva Grassmyer; step-daughters, Niayiah Kelley, Ariella McCartney, and Aubrie McCartney; brothers, Derek Decamp and Aaron Grassmyer; step-brother, Zachary Sherman; step-sisters, Courney Sellers and Renee Sherman; and grandmother, Joyce Dubson. Ian is preceded in death by grandparents, Fred and Judy Grassmyer and James and Doris Knepper, formally of McClure.
Ian graduated from Indian Valley High School in 2004 and The Academy under their auto mechanic program. He most recently worked for Empire Kosher. In his free time, Ian enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He loved to spend time with his pap Knepper fishing on his boat.
Per his wishes, Ian is to be cremated with no services. King-Barr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
