George H. "Fats" Marks Jr., 58, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024.
Born on May 3, 1966, in Lewistown, George was the son of the late George Marks, Sr., and Addiebelle (Yeater) Marks, who survives. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Albie Marks.
George is survived by his devoted life-long companion, Ruby Winter, and his loving siblings: Georgie Parson and her husband, Tim, of Lewistown, Bill Harlon and his wife, Peg, of Lewistown, Rick Harlon and his wife, Sue, of Juniata County, and his half-sister, Deb Collins, and her husband, Larry, of Lewistown.
In his early years, George worked alongside his father at Eastern Industries. Most recently, he was employed at Juniata Concrete. He was a Christian by faith, and a passionate motorcyclist, George was a proud member of Mifflin County's Patriot Riders and Chapter 53 of A.B.A.T.E. He was known for his generous spirit and unwavering support for those in need, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and community.
In accordance with his family's wishes, services will be private and held at their convenience.
