Gary D. Page, 87, of McAlisterville, passed away at 4:15 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, at his residence.
Born on May 15, 1937, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is the son of the late Paul Page and Margaret (Sierer) Page Leister.
He is survived by his children, Crystal Huntzinger, Scott Page, Jill Mabe, Barbara Sheaffer, and Natalie McHale; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Lois Hockenbrock.
He was a 1955 graduate of East Juniata High School in Cocolamus.
Mr. Page was involved in the Christmas Tree Farm Business for more than 50 years, the Garment Industry for more than 30 years, and the Pet Supply Business for more than 30 years.
Gary was a member of the Lost Creek Presbyterian Church where he previously served as an Elder; was a member of the Lost Creek Rod and Gun Club since 1958; was a member of the Boy Scouts of America where he previously served as a Scout Master and was on the Executive Board for more than 50 years; and was a member of the McAlisterville Lions Club for more than 50 years.
He enjoyed collecting patches, Boy Scouts and Game Commission memorabilia, coins, and stamps.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, from Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Rev. Graham C. Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Lost Creek Presbyterian Ceme- tery, McAlisterville.
A viewing will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral services at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
