Cindy Lou Brackbill, 66, of Gardners, Adams County, and East Waterford, Juniata County, passed away Nov. 9, 2024, in Brookline Manor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Mifflintown.
Cindy was born Jan. 13, 1958, in Carlisle, a daughter of Carol (Miller) Brackbill of Mechanicsburg and the late Edward Lee Brackbill. She graduated from Cumberland Valley High School, Mechanicsburg, in 1976, and enjoyed being in the Cumberland Valley Marching Band Drumline. Soon after graduating, she began her career as a glass processor with PPG (Vitro), retiring after 40 years with the company.
As a young lady, Cindy enjoyed being in 4-H with her horse as well as hunting, fishing and riding her dirt bike.
Surviving with her mother, Carol, are three sisters: Bonnie Lee Kaucher, Kimmy Louise Arnold and Tracy Lin Yost, all of Mechanicsburg. Also surviving are her companion and dear friend, Gerald A. Hardy, of East Waterford, a niece, Amy Kaucher of Denmark, a nephew, Joseph Arnold III, his wife, Danyel and their children, Skylee, Beau and Edward.
