Carrie Lynn (Halfpenny) Hornbaker, 54, of Bowmansville, formerly of Lewistown, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 25, 2024 at Reading Hospital.
Born in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Connie (Brown) Halfpenny.
She was the wife of Jeffrey A. Hornbaker, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an LPN, previously working for Geisinger Cardiology in State College and recently working for Garden Spot Village in the dementia care unit.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Jeffrey, children, Katherine M., wife of Caleb Einspahr and Nicholas, husband of Trisha J. Hornbaker, grandchildren, Paycyn, Raelyn and Eustus, siblings, Russell, husband of Christine Halfpenny, Anne, wife of Michael Woomer and Jason, husband of Layne Halfpenny.
Services will be held private at the convenience of the family.
C. Stanley Eckenroth Home for Funerals in Terre Hill is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
